There’s a lot of music happening this year in conjunction with the 2012 London Olympics, but the first song to emerge is a collaboration between British artists Mark Ronson and Katy B. The track, “Anywhere In the World,” is part of the Olympic Games “Move To the Beat” campaign.

Chances are you’ve never thought of The Rolling Stones and One Direction as having any connection whatsoever. And that’d be normal; after all, one is a massively-influential blues-rock band and the other is a recently-popular UK boy band. But insanely, now there’s a reason to pair the two together; word has leaked out that One Direction group member, Harry Styles, is reportedly auditioning for a role as Stones’ frontman, Mick Jagger, for a forthcoming movie on the band, Exile On Main St.

During last night’s episode of “America’s Got Talent,” Sony debuted a four minute “super trailer” for The Amazing Spider-Man. It’s basically a quick action sequence from the movie right in front of the latest trailer, and while I take issue with the voiceover guy calling this “the most anticipated film of the summer” – that’d be The Dark Knight Rises, dude – this is very impressive and now I’m really looking forward to seeing what they have in store for us on July 3rd when Spidey swings back into theaters.
